Business Programs


Canadian Women in Action (BCW) offers Business Programs to support entrepreneurs, professionals, and aspiring business owners at every stage of their journey. Our initiatives include business development training, mentorship, networking, and leadership programs designed to foster economic empowerment, business growth, and career advancement. We provide the resources and support needed to achieve self-sufficiency and financial independence, whether launching a new venture or expanding an existing business. Through partnerships with industry leaders and community organizations, BCW is dedicated to empowering women and strengthening communities across Canada.

Community Programs


Canadian Women in Action (BCW) is dedicated to building stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities by empowering women, youth, newcomers, families, and underserved populations. We focus on education, skills development, cultural integration, and wellness programs to help individuals connect and improve their quality of life. Our initiatives address community needs while promoting social inclusion, personal growth, and civic participation. By providing supportive environments, we enable participants to gain the confidence and resources to positively impact their communities. Partnering with community organizations and stakeholders, BCW delivers programs that foster belonging, resilience, and long-term community development across Canada.

Business Programs

  • Black Girls Corner

    Black girls aged 12 to 15 to create a unique space for young and socialize, learn and share. BGC engages girls through four pillars of interpersonal development: Self-Care, Self- Image, Empowerment, and Development. Through learning and shared culture and heritage, BGC creates opportunities for social participation while promoting inclusion for visible minority Black girls.

  • Black Girls Leadership

    Black girls (mentees), in grades 10 to 12, with Black female professionals (mentors) to strengthen their leadership skills and provide them with a positive role model. This ultimately connects mentees with Black women with experience in their field of interest.

  • Inner Child Series

    Young girls and boys ages 6 to 11 aims to mobilize and provide them with a safe place to learn, share, explore and appreciate the world of art. Focused on leadership, art and mental health, the program encourages young boys and girls to develop a better relationship with their inner voice, this is done through participation in creative activities.
