Strong Hands,
Safe Homes
About the Program
The Strong Hands, Safe Homes Program is a hands-on, community-driven initiative designed to equip women—particularly newcomer and Black women—with practical, income-generating skills that support both economic empowerment and household stability.
At BCW, we recognize that financial independence and safe, stable homes are deeply connected. This program was created to address barriers to employment, limited access to skills training, and the need for flexible, culturally relevant opportunities that reflect the realities of the women we serve.
