
Social Media Volunteer
Position Summary
BCW is looking for a Social Media Volunteer to conduct research and create valuable, fact-based content specific to Black Canadian Women.
Social Media Volunteer responsibilities include: creating social media strategies, researching given topics, creating visuals, caption writing, post scheduling, performance tracking, reposting, engagement with our followers and collaborating with teams within the organization to accomplish given objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, optimistic attitude, great team working skills and a passion for service. The candidate should also have experience with social media management, original content creation, Hootsuite, Mailchimp and Wix website. The selected volunteer will be working with a team to accomplish the above listed responsibilities and must be able to commit a minimum of 1-2 hours per week.
*Bilingual is a bonus (French/English)
Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about Black Canadian Women in Action and attracting new members to join our organization.
Responsibilities

BCW Marketing Volunteer
Position Summary
BCW is looking for a Marketing Volunteer. This volunteer position will be done remotely and/or in office. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in marketing, content creation, and graphic design. The objective of the role is to support the production of poster design and posting on our social media.

Volunteers are highly valued members of BCW and as such we will provide reference letters for all volunteers who successfully complete a placement, upon request.
