  • Visionary and the Founder of UpRow, is on a mission to revolutionize the migration and newcomer settlement experience in Canada. As a newcomer herself, her personal experience fuels a deep-seated drive to enrich the immigrant journey by providing enhanced access to resources and mentorship. Kelise envisions a future where UpRow becomes a catalyst for the betterment of every immigrant in Canada, forging pathways to success and fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.

  • Co-owner of Care in a Pinch Inc. Having missed opportunities to network, take a mental health break, or participate in a community activity due to not having childcare, she was inspired to start an on-site event childcare service that sets up safe & engaging childcare spaces at galas, workshops, conferences, trade shows, meetings, etc. Care in a Pinch Inc mission is to create memorable and enriching experiences for every child, while promoting parent Inclusivity.

  • A flair for filling gaps in the community. As an immigrant entrepreneur woman, she is passionate about creating unique experiences for immigrants, volunteering in the community and supporting small businesses to thrive and succeed within the community. JOPY Collection makes a winter set consisting of a head warmer, neck warmer and a pair of warm gloves. This is the first black-owned winter accessories company in the prairies.
